This year’s Playoff Predictions saw ten participants who fearlessly made their predictions. Some were lucky enough to be bang on, and some were complete misses. Only ONE person predicted that the Anaheim Ducks would be supplanted by the Dallas Stars in the first round, and not ONE person predicted the Philadelphia Flyers would beat out the Washington Capitals.

Congratulations to our winner, Brandon! I awarded bonus points to whoever correctly predicted that the Detroit Red Wings would win the Stanley Cup (Brandon, Raph, Matt, Hora). In the end, Brandon emerged as FanInVan’s MONSTER Playoff Predictor of 2008, a come from behind performance in the final round!
